Terms and Conditions
AIoTIE 2026 is open to all local and international innovators.
Each participation should consist of at most 6 members, including 1 team leader.
All certificates issued for this competition, including but not limited to participation certificates, awards, and recognitions, shall be provided exclusively in electronic (e-certificate) format. No physical or printed certificates will be produced or distributed under any circumstances.
All entry or registration fees paid for participation in the competition are strictly non-refundable, regardless of withdrawal, disqualification, non-submission, or failure to complete the competition for any reason. Participants are advised to ensure eligibility and availability prior to making payment.
Any medals awarded in conjunction with the competition shall be provided solely in electronic (e-medal) format. No physical medals will be manufactured, shipped, or delivered to participants.
Registration and Submission Guidelines
The registration needs to be done by submitting the abstract (for all categories) - not exceeds 100 words.

Poster Guidelines
The guidelines for the poster are listed below:
Template and layout
No specific template is provided for this event.
Poster must be written in English.
The poster should be in portrait layout and in A4 format.
PDF Format Only and Poster Size is Not More than 5MB
Heading Information (must be included at the top of the poster)
The AIoTIE 2026 logo should be placed on the upper-left side of the poster.
The institution logo (if available) should be placed on the upper-right corner of the poster.
Full project title.
AIoTIE 2026 Project ID.
Names of all the group members and the institution represented.
Visual Appeal
Easy to read at a glance (avoid overcrowding text).
Neat layout with consistent fonts, headings, and colors.
Use diagrams, charts, or images to support explanation.
Poster should look professional and attractive.
Video Guidelines
The video can be in English or any preferred language, but English subtitles must be provided if the presentation is in a language other than English.
The video should be between 3 and 5 minutes in length. Videos that are not in between the length mentioned, marks will be deducted.
All information presented in the video must be cited, giving credit to the source.
Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification.
Video contents should include:
Introduction of the project
Problem statement
Proposed solution
Demonstration of its functionality
Explanation of the innovative product (idea, strategy, program, or project)
Cost effectiveness
Commercialization potential (if any), and any other supporting evidence.
The video must be uploaded to YouTube to get the video link. The YouTube video can be Public or Unlisted. Ensure it is not set as Private.
The video must be original and only made for AIoTIE 2026 competition.
Extended Abstract Guidelines
Submission of an extended abstract is recommended for all entries to enable participants to benefit from eISBN publication.

General Judging Criteria
JUDGING EVALUATION CRITERIA
Poster (5%)
The poster will be judged according to the poster content (title, well summarized, clearly shows developments of the project, strong conclusion and implications presented).
Poster is visually attractive (easy to read, utilizes creativity in use of fonts, heading, and colors)
Presentation (5%)
The presentation will be judged according to the information delivery, attractiveness, content, and quality of the video.
Limited to a maximum of 6 minutes.
Problem Statement (10%)
The problem to be solved is clearly defined.
The problem has a significant impact on society and the environment.
Proposed Solution (15%)
Highlight the practicality of the proposed solution in terms of how relevant is the innovation in addressing the defined problem.
Highlight the contribution of the product towards social benefit.
Demonstration (10%)
The demonstration will be judged on the clarity and effectiveness of the product demonstration in highlighting how the proposed innovation can solve the defined problem.
Functionality (10%)
The product functionality is well demonstrated.
No modification is required to make the product works.
Originality (15%)
Innovation is a new and unique innovation.
Highlight the innovativeness features of the innovation.
Provide evidence(s) to support the originality and novelty of the product.
Cost-effective (15%)
Provide the cost of the innovation.
Provide evidence(s) to support the claim for cost-effectiveness.
Commercialization Potential (15%)
Provide a complete prototype of the innovation.
Provide evidence(s) or the result of the market survey.
Highlight the proposed selling price and expected profit margin (if relevant).
Provide evidence(s) of sale records if the product has been marketed.
