We are excited to announce the 3rd Artificial Intelligence & Internet of Things International Innovation Expo 2026 (AIoTIE 2026, pronounced in Malay as i-otai 2026), taking place on 9 September 2026.
AIoTIE 2026 is a global innovation showcase that brings together innovators, researchers, educators, and industry players to present cutting-edge solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). This expo highlights bold ideas that address real-world challenges and drive the transformation of future-ready communities.
More than a competition, AIoTIE 2026 serves as an international platform for idea exchange, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, creating opportunities to connect, inspire, and build lasting partnerships among innovators worldwide.
What is the uniqueness of this competition?
AIoTIE 2026 is dedicated exclusively to innovative projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), showcasing breakthrough ideas at the forefront of these rapidly advancing technologies. This focused theme ensures that outstanding projects are recognised as true trailblazers, setting a high benchmark for creativity, technical excellence, and real-world impact.
Another key uniqueness of AIoTIE 2026 lies in its two-stage judging process. In the first stage, projects are evaluated by the First-Stage Expert Jury, which determines the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, ensuring professional assessment by qualified specialists. Shortlisted projects then proceed to the second stage, where they are assessed by international invited expert juries representing Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, Yemen, Türkiye, Japan, and Nigeria, specifically to determine the Special Award recipients. This dual-layer evaluation strengthens fairness, technical depth, credibility, and the overall prestige of the awards.
What further distinguishes AIoTIE 2026 is the opportunity for participants to publish an Extended Abstract with an official e-ISBN (optional). This provides formal recognition of their work while increasing its visibility at the international level. The integration of competition and publication makes AIoTIE 2026 not only a platform for showcasing innovation, but also a valuable avenue to share, document, and disseminate ideas globally.
